Leap Holdings Pty Ltd was established in 2012 by Ally Angula and Manna Matswetu after they realized that the only to make a positive change in Namibia would be through stimulating the local economy and thus creating sustainable jobs. Thus Leap Holdings and its mission to Impact 1 Million Lives was born, along with three other companies who share the same goal, namely Leap Agribusiness, Leap Manufacturing and Leap Retail. Leap Agribusiness (Pty) Ltd, carries out all agricultural operations for the Leap Holdings group with the aim to feed our nation through our love for agriculture. These operations can be found in the Tsumeb farming distract, specifically Camp 4 of the Farm Koedoesvlei. Our field of dreams has nurtured harvests such as onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes and cabbages. Leap Manufacturing Namibia (Pty) Ltd carries out all secondary processing for the Leap Holdings group. This companies operations take place mainly in Witvlei at our garment manufacturing factory which will create several employment opportunities in Namibia. Leap Retail (Pty) Ltd owns and controls all the Leap outlets and brands. Our current roster includes the My Republik brand (Namibia’s first commercial clothing brand) and My Greens, our fresh produce and frozen vegetables brand. The My Republik brand currently has one store at The Grove Mall of Namibia and another opening at Maerua Mall towards the end of 2015. Further expansions planned include outlets in countries such as Botswana, Zambia and South Africa.
